    Aufgabe
    On an annual basis the University embarks on a wide variety of construction projects that fall into the category of capital and minor works. The University wishes to establish a consultant framework to support its capital and minor works programme which may include the construction, alterations and refurbishment of the existing built estate and the infrastructure associated with the estate across the University's campus and associated sites.
    It is intended that the framework will be split into 12 lots covering the following disciplines:
    — Project Management,
    — CDM Planning Coordination,
    — Architecture and Master Planning,
    — Quantity Surveying,
    — Planning Consultancy and Property Advice,
    — Civil and Structural Engineering,
    — Mechanical and Electrical Engineering,
    — Building Regulations Consultancy and Inspection,
    — Landscape Architecture,
    — Fire Engineering,
    — BREEAM Consultancy,
    — Acoustic Consultancy.
    Generally project procurement is taken forward by stages broadly relating to the RIBA Work Stages but will also cover a wider range of topics including for example, design development, user group issues, project management, programme and progress, construction procurement, commissioning and whole life costing.
    Once the framework is established the University intends to seek tenders from the framework consultants for each specific project as it arises. There is however no guarantee given by the University of any amount of work during the life-time of the framework; neither will the University be restricted exclusively to using consultants from the framework (Tender Ref No T0712),
    Leistungsumfang
    The University has a construction budget for capital of approximatlely GBP 20 000 000 pa with small works forming 25 % of this total figure. However occasionally additional funding is made available from various sources which can include ERDF, HFCE & Private finance which can significantly increase this budget. The University wishes to appoint construction consultants to its framework to support these activities. It has identified 12 Lots to the framework and intends to have approximately [6] six consultants to each lot.
