II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
Brunel University London intends to procure a contract for the provision of architectural consultancy and design services in connection with the design and build of a new learning teaching centre (‘LTC’) on its University campus in Uxbridge. The LTC will be a new state of the art facility for learning and teaching which will be situated and create a new ‘Student Heart’ at the centre of the Campus. The Services which will be required in the Appointment include:
— architectural and related services;
— lead consultant services;
— principal designer services as defined in the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

The expected value of the LTC project as a whole is GBP 50 500 000.
The estimated value for this procurement is between GBP 1 000 000 and GBP 2 000 000 exclusive of VAT.

In respect of those Bidders that are unsuccessful in being awarded the appointment and who submit everything required for the Part A Submission (please refer to the procurement documents for information regarding what this entails), the University intends to pay an honorarium of GBP 10,0000.00 which will be paid 35 days after the notification is given of the overall winner of the procurement which is unchallenged.
