The project involves the adaptive re-use of an existing 255,000 SF building, which is located at 101 County Seat Dr, Mineola, NY & is being completed in phases. The first phase (Ph I) is currently in construction & includes site improvements, structural modifications & a new façade. The intent is to design, bid & award Ph 2 concurrent with the Ph I construction such that Ph 2 can proceed to construction upon completion of Phase 1. Ph 2 will complete the interior fit out of the buildings program spaces, including all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC & life safety systems as well as misc. site improvements. The auditorium will remain as shell space with code required life safety systems. Est. cost: $ 75 million.
