For the purpose of collaboration, the Police and Crime Commission for Merseyside (PCC) is leading the procurement and inviting tenders for a National Police Estates and Facilities Benchmarking Service. NPEG Benchmarking Management Group (BMG) act on behalf of their current 37 Police Force Members, as detailed in the accompanying documents.
The National Police Estates Group (NPEG) National Estate and Facilities Benchmarking service is designed to enable Member Forces to compare their costs and other aspects of their Estates' performance. It also provides Managers with an indication as to where money might be saved or better used or performance improved.
The proposed contract period is for 3 years (with an option to extend by a further 2-year period). The contract will commence on 1.4.2017. The contract is to provide a service for all members of the BMG and membership to the service is open to any UK Police Force.
