II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
This Tender is to establish multi supplier frameworks with a maximum of Five (5) participants (for each Lot) in 2 no Lots (the ‘Framework’) to whom specific contracts may be awarded on a non-exclusive basis based on the terms of a framework agreement (the ‘Framework Agreement’), a copy of which is issued with the tender documents.
In order to support the Capital Programme UCC intend to appoint Clerk of Works to Work on Various UCC Projects for the Building & Estates Office.
Lot 1 — Clerk of Works with a Civil/ Structural/ Architectural background with an in depth working knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Services.
The deliverables are 37.5 hours per week for 92 weeks over a 24-month duration (taking cognisance of annual leave) working on Various UCC projects under the direction of the Director of Buildings & Estates\Capital Projects Officer & Buildings Officer from July 2017 to July 2019.
The Clerk of Works will primarily be site based and will report directly to the UCC assigned project manager who will be responsible for the day to day management of the projects including liaising with project stakeholders and co-ordinating the activities of Consultants & Contractors.
