GIZ invites eligible Individuals/Firms to indicate their interest in consultancy services to conduct Consulting Services to Support in establishing a solar service centre in Kismayo, Somalia. More specifically, the Individual/Firm will carry out the following services: • Developing a sound business concept and strategic plan for a sustainable self-sustaining service centre. • Advice on the most advantageous business cooperation for the solar trainees for business growth. • Show a detailed financial plan. • Develop a feasible business plan. • Propose a functional operational system that will ensure sustainability. • Evaluate different options for where to host the centre. • Engage JCCI as a private sector partner, put in place a referral system where services and products at the centre are advertised to consumers, register the qualified trainees with the chamber, register the SSC as a legal business or cooperative for better access to the market. • Develop a feasible strategy for promoting products and services for vulnerable groups. • Develop a work-plan/schedule that will show how and the frequency the consultant(s) will engage with the solar trainees in proving integral on-site business advice. • Define a clear exit strategy until the business is self-sustained.
