As a part of the Science Museum's masterplan, proposals have been put forward to convert the existing galleries on the 4th and 5th floor into a new multifunction events space. The intention is to undertake a full strip out of the existing spaces to form generous new events spaces as well as functional arrival areas and reception points. Alongside the main events areas on each level there will be new WCs, cloakrooms, lobbies and kitchens to serve the space.
