Summary Details:
The District of North Vancouver is seeking a qualified design team to work collaboratively with District Parks staff and the Tsleil Waututh Nation in the planning and design of a new park building in Cates Park/Whey-ah-wichen to replace an aging washroom/concession facility that no longer meets current park programing needs, or building standards and codes. The new building is to be designed with a contemporary expression of Coast Salish design and contain public washrooms and changing areas, concession area for seasonal sale of food, a First Nations feasthouse/multi-purpose meeting space, and storage areas related to building function, with outdoor space as extension of the building. 

Submissions are to be received on or before the Closing Date and Time as stated on the cover page of this RFP ("Closing Time").

Proposals received after the Closing Time will not be accepted. There will not be a public opening of Proposals.

Three (3) bound paper copies of your Proposal and one (1) electronic copy (consolidated into a single .pdf file), submitted by email or flash drive, are requested. The District prefers Submissions to be double sided and on recycled or partially recycled paper.

The District is not responsible for Proposals delivered to wrong addresses, or electronic Proposals that are not received before the Closing Time. It is the sole responsibility of each Proponent to ensure their complete Proposal(s) is/are received as intended. Proponents submitting Proposals close to the Closing Time do so at their own risk as late Proposals will not be considered or evaluated.
