000002/C/NCB/2017/2018/EDCL ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN, DETAILED TECHNICAL STUDIES AND SUPERVISION OF WORKS FOR A 3 STOREY BUILDING LKMP Project ID: NA LOAN No: NA RE-ADVERTISMENT REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (Consulting Firm) Tender No: 11.07.023/5391/17/MD- EDCL/EK/rjb/tn TITLE: CONSULTANCY SERVICE FOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN, DETAILED TECHNICAL STUDIES AND SUPERVISION OF WORKS FOR A 3 STOREY BUILDING FOR LAKE KIVU MONITORING PROGRAMME LABORATORY AT RUBAVU DISTRICT IN WESTERN PROVINCE The Energy Development Corporation Limited (EDCL)/ Lake Kivu Monitoring Program (LKMP) intends to finance the consultancy services for design studies and supervision of a 3 Storey building for Lake Kivu Monitoring Programme in Rubavu District, Western Province as described below under the fund from the Kingdom of Netherlands; The services include but not limited to the following: Carry out detailed topographic survey of the area for selected site for building implantation; Carry out geotechnical survey/tests for footing reinforcements and other structural details; Detailed architectural design, electrical and mechanical studies; Detailed Structural design calculations; Preparation of Tender Documents including Bills of Quantities and cost estimates; Environmental impact assessment report; Full time construction supervision of civil works to ensure quality of work during project implementation. The EDCL/LKMP now invites eligible consultants to express their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments with certificate of good completion, experience of building design studies, availability of qualified and experienced Civil engineer, Architectural engineer, Structural engineer, Geotechnical engineer, Quantity surveyor, electrical/ electrotechnical engineer, Environmental engineer, Chemist and biologist, etc …among staff.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. Consultants will be selected on Quality and Cost Based Selection method (QCBS) in accordance with the procedures Rwanda Public Procurement Law of Mars, 2007 as amended to date.
