The Courtauld Connects project aims to support the overall vision of The Courtauld by maximising the potential of the unique heritage site. It aims to create a physical location and internal quality and distribution of spaces which integrate all elements of The Courtauld's operations, meeting current needs and enabling future sustainability. The overall development will be delivered in two phases. The Construction Manager procured though this SQ and Tender is to bid for both Phases 1 and 2. The appointment will be awarded for Phase 1 works only and may be extended to include Phase 2.

This contract will be let under a bespoke contract using a single stage procurement route. Phase 1 ~22 000 000 GBP & Phase 2 ~ 17 000 000 GBP.
Development Grants — A Development Grant for Courtauld Connects was awarded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and a Delivery Grant application is in progress to support delivery of Phase 1.
Planning Approvals — Town Planning approval and Listed Building Consent for the scheme was achieved in September 2017. References are 17/05846/FULL and 17/05847/LBC respectively.
