The second prize was awarded for a concept that harmoniously combines the Academy with the park and creates an autonomous, friendly and unique school space shielded by the building's walls, while featuring proper design decisions that take into account the site conditions, including acoustical considerations. The proposal to suspend the concert hall above the outdoor hall and continue this open space towards the Vistula boulevards with a pedestrian walkway led along the undulating walls covered with wooden lamels is noteworthy. The designers created a student-friendly urban interior, attractive to music lovers and locals alike thanks to its attractive architecture as well as attractive building program. The western part of the southern facade in the form of graphite walls provides a suitable neutral background for future Park of Music developments.
