Van den Berg Groep designs and coordinates the construction of a project of 170,000 m2 in Erbil, Iraq.

Kampen, June 27, 2012 - Van den Berg Groep, a leading Dutch Architect and Engineering company, has been awarded a contract for 450 apartments, commercial space and associated parking in Kurdistan, Iraq. The total scope of the contract is about 170,000 m2. The new building will be realized in Erbil, Kurdistan, located in the relatively safe northern part of Iraq. The apartments are located in five towers with ground floor commercial space and parking layers beneath. The principal and Van den Berg Group are asked to organize sales and construction. Expected to start construction in November this year.
