Notice Description
RFAP Standing Offer Agreement - Architectural and Engineering Consultant Services, Suffield, AB
Defence Construction Canada (DCC) Request for Abbreviated Proposals (RFAP) Standing Offer Agreement - Architectural and Engineering Consultant Services, Suffield, AB.
In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the Province of Alberta, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from consulting firms to establish two Standing Offer Agreements to provide "as and when required" professional services specific to Department of National Defence (DND) requirements located in CFB Suffield, Alberta.
The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposal (RFAP) is to select two (2) firms, who will each sign a Standing Offer Agreement (SOA) with DCC to provide services on an "as and when required" basis to a maximum estimated value of $300,000.00 (for each SOA), for a period of two (2) years from the date of award.
If mutually agreeable between the Consultant and DCC, the SOAs may be extended for up to one (1) additional year period.
Call-ups under the SOAs are expected to be valued between $3,500 and $30,000; the maximum value of a call-up is $75,000. An SOA is not a commitment by DCC to spend any or the entire amount.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Technical Proposal document. The criteria relate to achievements and experience, technical and managerial expertise, and consultant coordination. The highest two (2) ranking firms selected through the evaluation process, including a factor for the price element, will be invited to negotiate a standing offer agreement with DCC.
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Technical Proposals on the forms that are available from MERX by calling 1-800-964-6379.
To be considered, Technical Proposals must be received at the following address, no later than 14:00 hours local time on May 29, 2012.
Proponents can obtain contract award results from the DCC Website at http://www.dcc-cdc.gc.ca/inform/ContractAwards.htm.
