General Architectural/Engineering Services

The Authority is seeking proposals from qualified firms to furnish the goods and/or services identified in the specifications document.
Scope of Work: General Architectural/Engineering services for any facility, proposed facility, feasibility studies or evaluations as requested under a task order contract basis. OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT. Capital Metro’s objective is to retain a general architec-tural/engineering consulting firm(s) to provide A/E services that may include but are not limited to: feasibility stud-ies/reports, preliminary building and site designs, final project designs, construction documents of proposed new transportation/transit facilities including administrative and maintenance buildings, lease space or tenant finish outs, transfer centers, neighborhood transfer centers, park & rides, bus stops and amenities, bicycle facilities, rail sta-tions, any roadway or rail right of way (ROW) construction, transit oriented developments (TOD) and any other multi-modal transit related facilities. The Consultant must be familiar with the project development process for federally funded transit projects.

Document Cost: $7.30 fee, plus shipping and handling, for delivered hard copies of documents posted, only, to the Onvia DemandStar Web site; $5.00 for any document package electronically downloaded from the Onvia DemandStar Web site by members without subscriptions that include the Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority in their subscription service territory.

Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority must receive sealed offers prior to the deadlines specified. Note: "Time" relates to the local prevailing time in Austin, Texas. Late offers will not be accepted.
Solicitation packages can be picked up or sent via e-mail by calling (512) 389-7460, or by e-mail to procure-help@capmetro.org, and specifying the solicitation. Prospective offerors/bidders should frequently check the Capital Metro website for any updates/changes to solicitations. Sealed offers for the goods and/or services shall be received at the offices of the Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Procurement Department, 2910 East Fifth Street, Austin, Texas 78702. Capital Metro reserves the right to reject any or all offers.
“DBE Goal" refers to the percentage goal for participation on the project by firms certified as Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) through the Texas Unified Certification Program (TUCP). DBEs will be afforded full opportunity to participate in contracts awarded through these solicitations. DBEs must be certified with TUCP to be recognized as a DBE.
