    Aufgabe
    Oslo municipality, the Water and Sewage Department are preparing new preclusive pipeline installations from Grev Wedels plass and Kuba to Bekkelaget Treatment Plant (BRA). The pipeline installations have been called Midgardsormen and this is used as the project term. Midgardsormen is the largest investment on the sewage side which has been carried out in Norway so far. Midgardsormen comprises of nearly 3 km of rock tunnel, approx. 2.0 km of pipe laying by micro tunneling or pipe pulling, and approx. 4.5 km sewage pipes in open ditches. A large number of shafts/manholes shall be established for start-up or as a result of execution considerations. A new pump station and a new grate installation are to be built at BRA. The whole pipeline installations are to be executed so that the water runs downhill on its own from the start points to Bekkelaget. In connection with these site works, the buildings, constructions, ground water and settling shall be registered and monitored during the whole construction period in accordance with the more detailed description.
