      Section VI: Complementary information

      VI.3) Additional information
      The services to be provided are set out in the DoES Standard Schedule of
      Services for Construction Consultants Rev 2 (available at
      www.education.ie, under Technical Guidance). No site specific information
      is available at this time. Before submitting an expression of interest
      applicants should refer to the Suitability Assessment Questionnaire
      DoES-QC1 (Short) and Consultants Pre-qualification Assessment Excel
      Spreadsheet attached to the eTender advertisement and satisfy themselves
      that they meet the minimum standards required. The Contracting Authority
      reserve the right, if it so wishes, to request any or all applicants to
      produce the necessary detailed evidence at pre-qualification stage prior
      to inclusion on the short list for the project. The envisaged number of
      operators to be short-listed to tender is as stated at IV.1.2 above. All
      applicants having an equal suitability assessment score to the lowest
      qualifying Candidate will also be deemed to be qualified. Candidates will
      be pre-qualified on the basis of the information submitted in response to
      this notice (All criteria have a minimum standard). The submissions of the
      apparently successful applicants will be validated prior to completing the
      short-list. Where a candidate having qualified for the short-list
      withdraws prior to the completion of the Tender Process or is subsequently
      found to have provided inaccurate information sufficient to justify
      exclusion (at any stage after the short-list is formed), the competition
      will proceed with the remaining number of candidates. Applicants who
      failed to be short-listed will not be subsequently added to the list. The
      successful applicant will be required to produce the necessary detailed
      evidence before appointment. To apply for inclusion on the short-list for
      the project the Applicant must.
      (1) complete and sign the questionnaire
      (2) complete the Consultants Pre-qualification Assessment Excel
      Spreadsheet
      (3) send in the questionnaire and a print-off of the spreadsheet to the
      Contracting Authority with a stamped self-addressed A4 envelope before the
      time and date specified. No other information should be provided. Note:
      The envelope must be clearly marked with the name of the Tenderer, the
      name of the Contract, and the content for example "Tender of ABC Limited
      for xxx Services for proposed extension to Oaklands Community College,
      Edenderry, County Offaly”. The PROJECT CATEGORY is TYPE 2b. The estimated
      total performance period is 48 months. The Contracting Authority may amend
      or vary the standard DoES award criteria published @ www.education.ie. The
      applicable award criteria will be issued with the invitation to tender.
      Interviews for the Archi tectural appointments may be held (for the
      purpose of clarification) at the discretion of the Contracting Authority.
      Applicants should note

      — the extent of the services required to be undertaken,
      — Applicants should note that they will be required to show detailed
      evidence, at award stage but prior to appointment that the personnel
      listed have the capacity to undertake the work within the time-scale
      stated. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to terminate the
      Tender competition process at any time. The Contracting Authority also
      reserves the right to procure the development by alternative means if it
      appears that the development can be thereby more advantageously procured.
      The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. The funding
      agency, the Department of Education & Skills is subject to the
      requirements of the Freedom of Information Act. If a candidate considers
      that any of the information supplied in response to this notice is either
      commercially sensitive or confidential, this should be highlighted and
      reasons for its sensitivity given. The relevant material will, in response
      to a request under the Act, be examined in the light of exemptions
      provided for in the Act. This comprises the complete information to be
