Project description:

Der frühere Speisesaal einer ehemaligen Kadettenanstalt in Potsdam wurde zur Bibliothek der Staatskanzlei der Landesregierung Brandenburg auf dem Regierungsstandort Heinrich-Mann-Allee umgenutzt. In Ermangelung der denkmalpflegerischen Möglichkeit einer Erweiterung aussen wurde der aussergewöhnlich hohe Hauptraum durch den Einbau eines ringsum frei stehenden „Tisches“ nach innen erweitert und strukturiert. Die eingebauten Möbel gliedern den Raum und dienen auch als Orientierungssystem.
