RhineScheme GmbH

The challenge of "The Cloud" - located in the core area of Beijing Yizhuang - was to create highly individual and representative office space between 1,000 and 5,000 m² for start-up companies ... located in an 80-120m tall high-rise building with 130,000 m² floor area.	The proposed typology of buildings in the project of Society Hill is reflecting wishes and possibilities of young people – medium and small-sized apartments with a big variety of additional spaces: as private gardens, terraces, balconies – all of them bright and with good solar conditions.	The first construction stage of this important Eco City project in Tianjin initiated and invested by both the Chinese and the Singaporean state has already started. Basis for the detailed urban planning are the results of an international urban planning competition from which RhineScheme's (former: Rheinschiene’s) design emerged as one of the 2 winning schemes.

  RhineScheme (ehem. Rheinschiene) ist ein international tätiges Architektur- und Stadtplanungsbüro, das auf eine mehr als 30-jährige Planungs- und Baupraxis zurückgreifen kann. Als interdisziplinär zusammengesetztes Team von Architekten, Stadt- und Landschaftsplanern, Innenarchitekten sowie einem breiten Netzwerk assoziierter Fachplaner sind wir einem ganzheitlichen Entwurfsansatz verpflichtet – von Anfang an. Rund 80 Planer sind in Büros in Deutschland (Köln, Frankfurt, Leipzig), China (Peking, Shanghai) und USA (Knoxville) tätig. Nachhaltige, sich ändernden Parametern leicht anpassbare Lösungen sind unser Ziel, intelligente, aus dem Lokalen schöpfende Low-Tech-Konzepte sowie wirtschaftlich machbare Kreativität und Innovation. Handfeste praktische Erfahrung wird durch internationale Lehr- und Forschungstätigkeit ergänzt. Seit 2005 liegt ein Schwerpunkt der Planung in China, wo gemeinsam mit einem örtlichen, rund 20 Mitarbeiter starken internationalen Team ein nicht nur für deutsche Büros einzigartiges Projektportfolio realisiert wird.
