INVITATION TO BID
RE-BIDDING

The CENTER FOR HEALTH DEVELOPMENT REGION 4A, QMMC Compound, Project 4, Quezon City, through the General Appropriations Act. No. 10147 for CY 2012 intends to apply the budget allocation for the herein indicated projects.

The Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) invites all eligible bidders to bid for the following contract:

Interested bidders shall submit a certified true copy of valid PCAB license having a category applicable for the contract specified.

Eligible bidders should have undertaken at least three similar contracts awarded and completed from year 2001 to present and with similar contract amount should be equivalent to approved budget for the contract. The Eligibility Check Screening and the preliminary examination of the bids shall use non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criteria. The contractor shall have a cash deposit on a reputable bank that has a minimum of 10% of the ABC. Post Qualification of the Lowest Calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Bid Security and Performance Bond shall be cash in payment, Pre-Bid Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post Qualification, and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

The CENTER FOR HEALTH DEVELOPMENT REGION IV-A assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.

The DOH-CHD IV-A reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to declare the bidding a failure, not to award the contract; to annul the bidding process and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby aiming any liability to the affected bidders. Furthermore, the DOH CHD IV-A reserves the right to waive any minor defects of formality and to accept the proposal most advantageous to the agency.
