The primary purpose of this Request for Information and Qualifications is to select
Respondent(s) to provide one or more of architectural, mechanical, electrical, and
structural consulting engineering services and to work in conjunction with the Project
Director in the development of documentation and compliance monitoring of the design build
projects for the replacement of Belmont Secondary School at Glen Lake and the construction
of a new Royal Bay secondary school on behalf of SD62 including:

- assistance with the development of the documentation including the performance
specification for a design build RFQ, and RFP;

- evaluation of expressions of interest and proposals for design build schools;

- assistance with completion of the design build agreement with the preferred proponent;
and

- monitoring the construction of the schools as the owner's representative to confirm the
performance specification has been achieved for each school.

The Design Build Contractor will be the design authority and maintain responsibility for
the design and construction of the schools.
