SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE DESIGN CONTEST/DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

II.1) DESCRIPTION
II.1.1) Title attributed to the design contest/project by the contracting authority/entity:
Reorganisation and change cultural palace Dresden.
II.1.2) Short description:
The land capital Dresden intends to repair the existing cultural palace in the context of its concise surrounding area to modernise and in accordance with preservation as a community building future-oriented and in accordance with a high quality renovates. Additional references are not taken into account with the application. The jury will evaluate the work of the first treatment stage with regard to the following criteria: - Total concept and allocation of the functions - architecture quality and image education - orientation bar - handling with that existing building substance/consideration monument nursing of framework goals - city-spatial overall view and relationship between interior and outside space - functional character and use quality - space acoustic efficiency of the concert hall including optical quality - fulfilment of the provisional room program - observance of valid build-legal and other regulations (in particular fire protection, assembly place etc..) Listing the criteria does not represent an order of rank. For the second treatment stage the following, resuming criteria are used: - Solution of the task (advancement according to references of the jury and general readiness for the entwurflichen advancement on the basis of changed planning specifications) - economy and Realisierungsfaehigkeit (the cost upper limit is to be kept thereby urgently) - plausibility of the submitted cost estimation, subsequent and of operating cost the jury becomes following the 2.
