Winchester City Council (the ‘Council’) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to provide civil and structural engineering design and ancillary services (including geotechnical and flood risk engineering design) for a new sport and leisure facility in Winchester. The sport and leisure facility has an estimated construction value of circa 30 000 000 GBP and forms part of a wider sports park. It will include (subject always to feasibility and financial viability) a 50m swimming pool together with ancillary wet and dry facilities. The proposed facility is situated on a greenfield site on the edge of the City of Winchester adjacent to residential areas and the M3 motorway near the South Downs.
