    Fife College requires a single qualified and experienced supplier to deliver part of our Renewable Energy Engagement programme in schools throughout Fife and the surrounding areas in order to deliver the key points of the Curriculum for Excellence in Partnership with Fife College staff.
    Renewable Energy Engagement in Schools to deliver key points of Curriculum for Excellence including demonstrations of the production and use of renewable energies (Wind, Solar, Ground Source Heat and Hydrogen). The main requirements are:
    — STEM Roadshows in Schools;
    — STEM Workshops (School Visits to your premises);
    — CPD Training for Teachers and Tutors.

    Fife College requires a single qualified and experienced supplier to deliver part of our Renewable Energy Engagement programme in schools throughout Fife and the surrounding areas in order to deliver the key points of the Curriculum for Excellence in Partnership with Fife College staff.
    Renewable Energy Engagement in Schools to deliver key points of Curriculum for Excellence including demonstrations of the production and use of renewable energies (Wind, Solar, Ground Source Heat and Hydrogen). The main requirements are:

    — STEM Workshops (School Visits to your premises);
    — CPD Training for Teachers and Tutors.
    Services are to be provided within the available proportion of funds provided by the Scottish Funding Council, pricing must therefore be capped at a maximum charge detailed in the Specification. This maximum charge must be inclusive of all STEM Roadshows, Workshops and CPD sessions inclusive of Staffing, Accommodation, Materials, Facilities, Student Transportation and any other associated costs.

      A summary of the expected community benefits has been provided as follows:

      Fife College is committed to maximising Community Benefits from its procurement activities. As such, the Contractor will be encouraged to support the social and economic objectives in relevant and beneficial ways. Suggested Community Benefits may include:

      — Allowing pre-agreed access to the industrial facilities/Contractor's premises with expert input to support Senior School and College students with individual projects e.g. engineering science.

      — Jointly design, run and coordinate the annual Scottish Technogames with the College for teams of P7 pupils from around Fife. Tasks include preparing kits, setting up rooms, assisting pupils with robot building, developing challenges, arranging for judges, scoring, prize giving and associated PR throughout the day, including the provision of appropriate accommodation.

      — Jointly design, run and coordinate the annual Hydrogen Challenge with Fife College for pupils S2 and above. To include all preparation, provision of hydrogen and fuel cell kits, setting challenges, live demonstrations of hydrogen fuel cell technology, assisting pupil with design and building, comparing, judging, scoring, prize giving, and PR, including the provision of appropriate accommodation.

      — Host meetings, including Fife College STEM Strategy meetings on a regular basis, at least quarterly. Appropriate accommodation and refreshments to be provided for approximately 12-15 attendees.

      — Participation in the existing voluntary delivery to community groups, clubs and special schools. These voluntary sessions are required to take place at evenings and weekends.
