II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The Agency for Urban Development needs to hire a project manager for the upgrading of streets and a new tramway infrastructure in Storgata The project manager shall be located at Hasle, Karvesvingen 3 and the project's office in Storgata when this is established.
The project manager will be assigned to the section for Roads and public transport in the investment department of the Agency for Urban Environment (BYM). The Investment department is responsible for the planning and construction of all of the Agency of Urban Development's infrastructure projects.
Tramway tracks shall be established in both directions of Storgata. Old water and sewage pipes in the ground shall be replaced and new culverts shall be established in both parts of Storgata. The Storgata project includes the upgrading and renovation of the entire Storgata, from façade to façade. This includes the renovation of the tramway infrastructure, pavements and street, as well as parts of the water and sewage network. A high standard stop in Youngsgate shall be constructed and the current stop in Hausmannsgate shall be expanded.
The project manager's assignment includes, amongst other things:
— Monthly reporting on finances, progress and quality,
— Preparation and participation in management group meetings,
— Contact and coordination with other cooperation partners, both private and public,
— Meeting activities,
— Financial follow-up of the project,
— Coordinate the project team, follow-up of contracts with hired personnel,
— Present the project externally,
— Follow-up of the effected owners and neighbours.
The Project Manager shall work a full time position and follow the same work schedule schemes as the regular BYM employees (37.5 hours a week). The project manager is expected to be in place as soon as possible after the contract is signed.
