REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ARCHITECTURE SERVICES TO PROVIDE CONCEPTUAL DESIGN/LAYOUT FOR RENOVATIONS OF TWO PARK FACILITIES – BLUE SPRINGS, MO

The City of Blue Springs, MO is interested in retaining conceptual design services for Burrus Old Mill Park and Wilbur Young Park and signage design services for the entire City park system. Qualified architecture firms should be able to provide conceptual design services related to layout and future park development with respect to future expansion of park amenities, parking and trail locations. They should also be able to provide signage design services to incorporate a specific design but have unique features within each park facility. This will be a qualifications-based selection process as outlined below.

If you are interested in being considered for providing conceptual design services for these park renovation projects and signage design for the entire park system, please inform us before 2:00PM on October 5, 2017, by furnishing at least five copies of your firm’s qualifications relating to this type of work including one electronic copy.

A selection committee will evaluate the responses based on the criteria listed below. Interviews, if necessary, may be conducted October 19 & 20, for the final Architecture Firm selection. The selection committee’s findings will be presented to the City Administrator upon negotiation of a mutually agreeable contract.
