INVITATION FOR THE EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE DESIGN BUILD OF HEAD OFFICE QUARTER

1 . Sugar Corporation invites expressions of interest (E0I) from competent International construction/ Engineering firms and joint ventures to Express their Interest and submit a pre-qualification documents and information listed in the document for preliminary assessment to undertake both the design and construction of the facility as outlined above together with the related sub-works.

2. The scope will include, but is not limited to:

Concept development, preliminary designs and approvals,
Construction of the building as per the approved design,
Commissioning,
Provision of maintenance literature/ manual and training of the client's representatives,
Any other related duties to facilitate realization of the project.

3. The requirement is however more detailed in a Request for Proposal (RFP) document which will be circulated to shortlisted firms upon evaluation of submissions. Firms will be shortlisted for participation based on their demonstration of technical and financial capability in response to this request. In addition to the information requested in this document, interested, and eligible firms must provide an updated copy of their company profile with work catalogue demonstrating their capability and experience in similar assignments along with the names of at least three (3) references with contact information (physical address, e-mail address and telephone).

4. To enable you to submit the documents required for the perqualification, to indicate their interest in providing the required works by submitting an Expression of interest (EOI) in a standard format available in template form at the address given below, which can be collected without any fee from the address indicated below and may obtain further information at the following address:

5. Bidders can request for any clarification either with an official letter submitted to the above address.

6. All documents which form part of this Pre-Qualification dossier shall be considered explanatory of each other. Potential ambiguities in the documents and/or contradictions among them can be resolved by written response to the bidders by the Corporation.

7. The Pre-Qualification documents must be delivered to the above address office, on or before 08:00pm (afternoon) on Feb. 23, 2018. Late EOIs shall be rejected. EOI sent via fax or email will not be accepted.
