The contract consists of engineering design services for and the construction of 24 residences, divided between 3 buildings with eight 3 room flats per building. The buildings have been designed as two-storey buildings with flats. Each flat has an external sports shed and a separate outside entrance. Furthermore, the assignment includes the establishment of 24 garage places, with the accompanying storage sheds, divided between three garage buildings.
The residences shall be constructed in the residential area Vilje in Bardufoss. Simple and rational construction methods will be facilitated. Robust materials are chosen, in accordance with the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency’s experience and in agreement with the area’s location and distinctive character.
The buildings shall be passive house standard in accordance with NS 3700:2013.
The ground floor flats have stairless access and fulfil the accessibility requirements. The flats´layout plan has a lifetime standard.
