01659 Data Asset Capture for SPS Estate (Phase 3)
As part of its approach to the efficient maintenance of its estate, the SPS utilises a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). At the heart of any such system there is an asset register. The Purchaser is now at a stage where a fully populated asset register would facilitate further refinement of the maintenance programme and produce greater efficiencies in the delivery of maintenance services.
In order to populate the asset register the Purchaser has a requirement to engage with an appropriate Supplier to carry out an in depth asset data capture survey of a number of Establishments. SPS have already completed the asset data capture at a number of establishments. The intention is to roll out the survey across all of the Purchaser's establishments listed below.
This project is for the asset data survey capture at:
— HMP Barlinnie,
— HMP Greenock,
— HMP Dumfries,
— HMP Inverness,
— SPS HQ (Calton House),
— Central Stores (Fauldhouse).

As part of its approach to the efficient maintenance of its estate, the SPS utilises a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). At the heart of any such system there is an asset register. To date, the Purchaser’s asset register has been kept fairly simplistic in order that other processes and maintenance plans can be developed. The Purchaser is now at a stage where a fully populated asset register would facilitate further refinement of the maintenance programme and produce greater efficiencies in the delivery of maintenance services.
