The consulting services (“the Services”) comprises of undertaking a Feasibility Study, Preliminary Engineering Designs, Preparation of Tender Documents and Construction Supervision and Contract Administration for the Modernization and Expansion of Existing Tanga Port (Lot 1) and Development of Oil Jetties and Tank Farms at Ras Kazone and Chongoleani Areas (Lot 2), at Tanga. TPA, therefore, intends to engage a competent Consulting Firm to undertake a feasibility study, preliminary engineering designs, preparation of tender documents and construction supervision and contract administration for the modernization and expansion of existing Tanga port and development of Oil Jetties and Tank Farms. The Consulting Services (”the Services”) comprises of undertaking a Feasibility Study, Preliminary Engineering Designs, Preparation of Tender Documents and Construction Supervision and Contract Administration for the Modernization and Expansion of Existing Tanga Port (Lot 1) and Development of Oil Jetties and Tank Farms at Ras Kazone and Chongoleani Areas (Lot 2), at Tanga. TPA now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to express their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: (a) At least five (5) similar assignments i. e (studies and designing for port development projects) in the last ten years in the Sub Saharan African Region. (b) Availability of technical staff for the assignment who should include: 0 Team Leader with qualifications in port management and operations and have a postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics Engineering/ Management and must have vast experience of not less than 15 years in undertaking feasibility studies for transport infrastructure development, designing and implementing PPP projects. managing multi-discipiinary projects, contract administration and supervision of projects.
