Procurement of geophysical surveys in Bjørnafjorden 2018
The Norwegian Public roads administration, Western Region, invites tenderers to a competition for the execution, interpretation and reporting of ground conditions with acoustic measurements in Bjørnafjorden.
Bjørnafjorden
The aim of the contract is to obtain the necessary basis for engineering design services for bridges over Bjørnafjord. The assignment also includes supplementary geophysical surveys,
(bathymetry, seismuc, side-searching sonar). The aim of the procurement is have detailed geophysical surveys carried out over an area of approx. 5 km2, with a length of approx. 5,5 km and a width of 800 m. In addition, acoustic surveys are to be carried out at a selection of anchor locations and possibly back-up locations for anchors, in order to discover blocks with a diameter down to 0,5 m.
The procurement has an option for interpreting the geophysical measurements. The Contracting Authority can expand the contract with geophysical surveys on up to 2 km2 for the
Largest area to the east of the end-anchored bridge. For further details see the tender documentation, chapter D.2.8.

Section III: Legal, economic, financial and technical information
The tenderer shall be a legally established company. Documentation requirement: Company Registration Certificate from a Register of Business Enterprises Foreign tenderers shall instead submit equivalent
Certificates as prescribed in the legislation of the country where the tenderer is established. Tenderers must present documentation stating that the vessel and its crew have the necessary certificates to carry out the assignment.
The tenderer must have good economic and financial capacity to complete the contract.
There are requirements regarding the tenderer´s credit worthiness and equity. Documentation requirement: Annual accounts etc.

Tenderers must have carried out assignments of the same nature and degree of difficulty. Tenderers must describe their background and experience from comparable projects. Tenderers shall enclose a list of the most important relevant deliveries and services performed during the past 3 years, including information on the point in time, a brief description of the assignment, as well as the name of the public or private recipients. Tenderers must give an account of a minimum of 3 (maximum 5) reference assignments for both bathymetry and acoustic penetrative mapping.
