Shannon Airport Authority DAC wishes to procure the services of a multi-discipline contractor for the purpose of design, installation, integration, validation and certification of the delivery of a compliant Standard 3 Hold Baggage screening system upgrade at Shannon Airport.
The project comprises the design, supply, installation, testing, integration, validation, commissioning and certification of a Standard 3 Hold Baggage System (HBS) Upgrade at Shannon Airport from concept development through to detail design, build and handover including associated statutory certifications required to deliver a compliant system.
The project comprises any displacement relocation or construction works required to deliver a compliant system and should allow for the removal of the existing Standard 2 screening equipment at the airport, which comprises a sum of 2 standard lines and one out of gauge machine.
The upgraded Standard 3 Hold Baggage Screening System should be fully operational in advance of the 1.9.2020 deadline.
A full performance specification will be provided at Stage 2 -RFT.
