    We are looking for the Marine Design and Technical Service provider to support CMAL on new projects when required; this could be support for existing new builds under construction, future new builds, and day to day support on many projects including vessel conversions, upgrades and lifespan extension work.
    Typical services required:
    — naval architecture, intact and damage stability assessments, seakeeping studies, weight calculations, safety, inclining,
    — marine engineering, machinery arrangements, pipe system design,
    — electrical engineering,
    — draughting services,
    — vessel upgrade and conversion studies,
    — classification society and flag liaison.
    Good experience and knowledge of small and medium sized Euro B and C Ro-Pax Ferries certification and Ro-RO required. Knowledge of the stability department at MCA would be advantageous.
