Notion of Space - Paradoxical Installation Design

As exciting as it may seem, the hustle and bustle of city life get bitter and mundane with every passing day. With no new perspectives and exposure to the ever-increasing traffic, pollution, and an unstoppable, fast-paced life that runs on repeat mode.
Introducing a paradox in regular life can bring a change of perspective and a sense of joy and excitement. Artuminate launches the ‘Notion of Space’ competition aiming to explore the imagination of creative minds by providing an experiential break for the city dwellers.

Artuminate challenges you to design an Experiential Paradoxical Installation in the city.

Purpose:
Understanding the importance of imagination in architecture

Objective:
To address the issues of banality of city life and using paradoxical architecture to add excitement in every day's mundane life.

Design Program:
An Experiential – Paradoxical Installation Design

Guidelines:
• Site / Location – Participants choice (Condition: Hustling City)
• The word to remember ‘Paradoxical’.
• We are expecting experiential & paradoxical design.
• Drawing requirements: Conceptual (Priority), Plans, Sections, Elevations, View (based on your design).
• Support your design with all possible explanation, (Formats that are accepted: Text, Video, Audio and the most obvious drawings).
• Accepted format: Drawings – JPEG./JPG. | Text – Docx./Docs.

Registration deadline: 8th January 2023

AR (advanced registration): 1st July 2022 – 23rd July 2022

ER(early registration): 24th July 2022 – 8th August 2022

SRL1 (standard registration level 1): 9th August 2022 – 8th September 2022

SRL2 (standard registration level 2): 9th September 2022 – 8th October 2022

SRL3 (standard registration level 3): 9th October 2022 – 8th November 2022

SRL4 (standard registration level 4): 9th November 2022 – 8th December 2022

LR (late registration): 9th December 2022 – 23rd December 2022

CR(countdown registration): 24th December 2022 – 8th January 2023

Submission deadline: 23rd January 2023
