How do you make an extension to an architectural masterpiece? We propose a building extension that respects and reinterprets the strong architectural elements introduced by the original architect, Jean Tschumi. We extend the existing plinth and introduce a series of courtyards that spatially merges building together with landscape. Nested within some of the courtyards, a number of building volumes protrude up from the plinth to form a skyline that integrates the existing together with the new building additions.
