Development of an architectural concept of the Atomic Energy Pavilion at VDNH (Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy)

Future is here is the crucial idea behind the image of this building. Its appearance arouses strong associations with the mainstream of science fiction. At the same time the building corresponds to the surrounding area both by its scale and composition. The horizontal line of the visor supports the cornices of the neighboring buildings in the alley. Romb halls rhythm with many other building in VDNH. Compositionally the building consists of a reversed dome which unites the bulk of the building and the roof into a single dome. The Pavilion is much more than a closed space, it is open to public and invites the visitors to start the transparent dialogue.
