Erläuterungstext

A hierarchy in urban context may create immense pleasure to its inhabitants. It becomes more interesting if all different spaces are connected with a single Axis. Such diversity may be multidirectional: above and around and also surrounding. Compatibility of heritage and incentives to convert brown fields into green spaces provide its identity within the city surroundings. It is a journey to connect the various urban essences by ecology. Our site is surrounded by open areas and group of monumental buildings; also we have accessibility from all corners. The site need more justification for better proposals to combination them and something new which the city of Berlin is currently ‘Not posed with’. Again the context of site gave a lot of opportunities to mix the variety of Bio fabrics and just we need to pick up rational ones to connect them simultaneously.

During 3rd semester, this project was a class group urban revitalization project. leaded by me; became one of only of 8 shortlisted projects from 6 universities around the world; for the “Student Charrette” competition at the 2016 World Architecture Festival held in Berlin from 16 November to 19th November. i comprised a team of two Chinese students, Yihua and Cybel, our two Iranian mentors mr and mrs Ghallam and one Indonesian student Adiwan. the concept was mine and they worked hard to improve that project accordingly and also teachers supported us lot. This was a great achievement as a Bangladeshi student to attend for the first time in such world wide competition. it was also great honor for Germany also as the one and only German University having been nominated among a large number of entrees at such international scale. my concept was to employ urban analysis techniques by exploring better understanding of urban spaces, distinguish between urban conservation and development challenges, define goals and develop urban design concepts and strategies for preserving and revitalizing the neglected urban spaces and heritage as well as improving the quality of urban life as a process through a landscape and heritage ‘Mix’. For such success in representative, my university and German government awarded me Sibet-DAAD scholarship from April 2017.

really it was great!
