Kreuzberg am Wasser
Coherent Spaces is a study that aims to explore new intentions through developing a new adaptable live/work spaces catering the food culture or food production in Berlin Kreuzberg. The site within an underused public park and remains of a broken fragment of the city is where formerwarehause typologies were situated. The project aims to defy the basic frameworks by integrating a genuine sense of community, through shared and flexible spaces; achieving an unparalleled coherence in todays necessities.

Verfahren I Kohärenz I Sich zu einer Einheit zusammenfassen.
ln the preliminary step, case studies were carried out to explore selected small urban food production in Berlin, from start-up craft beer, tofu production, to artisan ice cream and so on. With the aim to show similarities and differences of spatial configuration as well as spatial requirements.

Design-Intentionen (Zu einer neuen Wohnungsartologie)
MARKETHALLE x FOOD PRODUCTION x WORK/LIVE. The idea is to have real food producers and start-ups live and work harmoniously together in a hybrid urban space. lmagining a space for a diverse group of people, creating options in different spatial configurations. Spaces that can be divided or connected, that relates to outside and inside space. Achieved through the integration of both functional and collective spaces, shared production spaces, kitchens and individual retreats for living order not to sacrifice the privacy.
