Platzgestaltung in Prag / Macharovo náměstí ve Střešovicích

Machar Square is the center, the center of the Ořechovka residential district. Not only its position within the whole, its dimensions, proportions, scale, but also its functional content and facilities. The design respects the space consistency and continues. New tennis courts are located in an almost identical place as the existing, the object of the tennis club is then placed "above" courts. The position of the club building over the courtyards creates a significantly more interesting communication and urban space between the cinema building and the sports club. There is a distance, overview, the street gets a different, more generous dimension. Operationally, the structure is broken down by floor into a basement with club facilities, dressing rooms, toilets and storeroom, and ground floor with restaurant operation, manager facilities and transformer space. Both floors are connected by a wide open staircase, which at the same time connects the club with the upper, park part of the square.

Der Macharplatz (Macharovo náměstí) ist ein Zentrum des Wohnviertels Ořechovka. Nicht nur dank seiner Lage, aber auch in Größe,Proportionen und Maßstab, sowie Nutzung und Ausstattung stellt er eine Schwerpunkt des Viertels dar.
Der Entwurf respektiert die axiale Orientierung des Ortes und führt sie weiter fort.
Die neuen Sportfelder (Tennis) befinden sich an gleichem Ort wie die bestehenden. Das Bauvolumen des Tennisclubs hingegen wurde über die Spielstätten verlagert.
Durch die Lage des Klubhauses oberhalb der Plätze gewinnt der Raum zwischen Kino und Sportanlage urbanistisch und komunikativ wesentlich an Bedeutung. Distanz definiert Freiraum, die Straße bekommt einen großzügigeren Maßstab.
Operativ ist der Bau nach Etagen gegliedert. In das Untergeschoss mit Nebenfuntionen des Sportklubs, Umkleiden, WC, Lager, sowie dem Erdgeschoss mit den Restaurants, Hausmeisterräumlichkeiten und derTransformatorstation.
Beide Geschosse verbindet eine breite direkte Treppe, die den Klub ebenfalls mit dem Park im oberen Bereich des Platzen verbindet.

Macharovo náměstí je centrem, těžištěm rezidenční čtvrti Ořechovka. Nejen svou pozicí v rámci celku, rozměry, proporcemi, měřítkem, ale také funkční náplní a vybaveností. Návrh respektuje osovost prostoru a pokračuje v ní. Nové kurty jsou umístěny na téměř totožném místě jako stávající, objekt tenisového klubu je pak umístěn "nad" kurty. Pozice stavby klubu nad kurty vytváří výrazně zajímavější komunikační a urbanistický prostor mezi budovou kina a sportovním klubem. Je zde odstup, přehled, ulice dostává jiný, velkorysejší rozměr.
Provozně je stavba členěna dle podlaží na suterén se zázemím klubu, šatnami, wc a skladem, a přízemí s provozem restaurace, zázemím správce a prostorem trafostanice. Obě podlaží jsou propojena širokým jednoramenným schodištěm, které klub zároveň spojuje s horní, parkovou částí náměstí.
