Der Große Handelssaal prägt das Bild der Deutschen Börse ­ weltweit. Eine Neugestaltung muss dieser Bedeutung gerecht werden und zugleich die
Bedürfnisse von Maklern und Besuchern berücksichtigen.

Lösungskonzept
Der Handelssaal überführt die Corporate Identity des Unternehmens in
Architektur. Eine hochwertige, klare Gestaltung bringt die Markenbotschaft
der Deutschen Börse zum Ausdruck. Als raumprägende Elemente sind
ergonomische Maklerschranken, Anzeigentafel und eine saalumgreifende
Weltkarte ausgebildet. Diese Lichtinstallation bringt die globale Vernetzung
des Finanzplatzes zum Ausdruck. Transparenz und Offenheit spiegeln sich in
der Architektur und den zeitgemäßen Vermittlungstools, die auf der
Besuchergalerie angeboten werden. Das Lichtkonzept ermöglicht eine flexible
Nutzung des Saales.


German Stock Exchange Frankfurt - Main Trading Hall

Task
The main trading hall in Frankfurt is the icon of the German Stock Exchange
and the image of the Deutsche Börse worldwide. Therefore, a reorganisation
must do justice to this message and serve the needs of brokers and visitors.

Solution
Through architecture, the trading hall portrays corporate identity. The
high-quality, sleek design expresses the message of the Deutsche Börse
brand. The space defining elements of the hall are the ergonomic brokers`
barriers, the DAX-Board, and the worldmap light installation showing the
Börse Frankfurt within the global context. Transparency and openness are
reflected in the architecture and are evident through the use of
contemporary mediums in the visitors´ gallery. The light concept allows for
a flexible and dynamic use of the trading hall.
