ENTWURFSKONZEPT
das konzept des entwurfes basiert auf der idee der plastischen verformung der innenflächen einer rechteckigen röhre [3,25 (h) x 5 (b) x 18 (t) m], unterteilt in 18 einzelsegmente zu je 1m
boden, wand und decke wurden nach formalen und funktionalen parametern – entsprechend ihrer räumlichen position - so weit verformt, bis eine neue raumbildende oberfläche entstand
alle notwendigen funktionen sind integrale teile der innenhĂĽlle bzw. der plastischen masse, die sich durch die verformung generiert hat
die aneinanderreihung der segmente ergibt ein kontinuum – ähnlich einer wirbelsäule - in dem die teile aufeinander reagieren. der effekt der homogenen oberfläche ergibt eine organische einheit
die bewegung im raum ist aufgebaut auf die lineare struktur der skulptur. vom markanten eingangsbereich baut sich ein spannungsfeld richtung raumtiefe auf.

materialien: mdf 20mm (rahmenkonstruktion); mdf 10 mm (deckflächen)
farbe: melisse–grün: lackfarbe (wände und decken); epoxydharz (boden)
beleuchtung: xenon lighting „frame 70 opal“
DESIGN PROPOSAL
the concept is based on the idea of a sculptural deformation of the interior of a rectangular tunnel-like space [3.25m (height) x 5m (width) x 18m (length)], divided into 18 single segments each measuring 1m
the floor, walls and ceiling are formed by/made up of formal and functional parameters – corresponding to their position in the room – in order to create a new spatial surface
all necessary functions are integral parts of the interior surface or the plastic substance which is generated by the deformation itself
the order of the segments creates a continuum – rather like a spinal column – in which the parts react to each other. the homogeneity of the interior surface produces an effect of organic unity
movement within the room reflects the linear structure of the sculpture. this creates a field of tension that extends from the store’s eye-catching entrance all the way into the depths of its interior
