The first prize-winning Contest Design, in the context of forming a representative presentation character of the future Nikola Tesla Museum, in the initial, almost dominant focus, quite successfully subsisted and undoubtedly achieved an effective result of the targeted transformation, factual improvement and the reiterated, reaffirmed presentation of the industrial architectural heritage set up in the existing building of the Milan Vapa’s Paper Mill.

Observing extremely demanding measures of protection of architectural heritage, established through the defined status of the building as a cultural monument, and technical conditions in its overall complexity, richness of contents and professionally clear restrictive formatting, the designers of the first prize-winning Contest Design, in an extremely clear and unambiguous manner, affirming the value potential of monumental criteria and valorization conditionalities, achieved an exceptional and almost amazing result, both in the treatment of the existing building in terms of form and revitalization, and in the treatment of the contemporary spatial, form-related and finally visual-art approach and trend in the architectonics of the presented, and in the context of complete integration and permeation of the old and the new, all without any traces of negating each other.

In the context of functional richness of contents, with a visible understanding of the essential postulates of modern museological provenances, the designers undoubtedly managed, in a completely reliable, certainly innovative and almost challenging way, through urban, architectural and cultural-historical revitalization of the space, to present Tesla's work in a destination, in a goal, in a thematic whole, in a new, completely dynamic cultural, ambient, reference and certainly architectural benchmark. Precisely into the one that readily welcomes visitors and researchers, tourists and local community, introducing them into a space that combines history, modern technology and future aspirations, whereby, besides the place of memory, it aspires to become a center of innovations.

Surely, the dynamism of public spaces, inspired by Tesla's concepts of electromagnetic fields and energy, undoubtedly points to the fact that the designers were successful in their intent to achieve the flow of the planned movement routes with sufficient capacity and surface areas of green spaces and interactive installation systems, combining the attributes of technological, light and artistic performance.
