Scope of Work |
On behalf of the City of Tallahassee (herein may be referred to “City” or “COT”), Florida, the Underground Utilities and Public Infrastructure Department is requesting written technical submittals from Civil Engineering Consulting firms to provide engineering services for a Pedestrian and Street Safety (PASS) project on Richview Road. Estimated cost of the project construction is approximately $4.5 million. The project consists of the design and permitting to rebuild the roadway corridor to include bike lanes on both sides and sidewalk on one side of Richview Road from Apalachee Parkway to Springforest Road. Improvements shall include drainage conveyance improvements and stormwater management as necessary of traffic and potential impacts to FEMA Flood Zone A. (It should be noted that there will be a strong preference against use of stormwater treatment by dry detention with filtration if any other options are viable.) Consideration for potential traffic calming methods will also be requested during project design. *Survey will be provided by the City.
