QUALIFICATIONS-AIRPORT

MASTER PLANNING SERVICES

The City of Melbourne is requesting qualification submittals from qualified airport consulting professionals pursuant to FAA Advisory Circular 150/5100-14E. Planning services required will include the update of the airport’s Airport Layout Plan (ALP), as well as subsidiary planning tasks needed to accomplish this core service at the Melbourne Municipal Airport. Design and Construction services are not included in this solicitation. The ALP Update is anticipated to be developed using FY2019 grant funds from the FAA.

The following criteria shall be used to select the consultant:

a. Capability to perform all or most aspects of the project with knowledge of FAA regulations, policies, and procedures.

b. Recent experience in airport planning projects comparable to the proposed ALP Update project.

c. Reputation for personal and professional integrity and competence.

d. Professional experience and capabilities of key personnel to be assigned to this project.

e. Familiarity with the Melbourne Municipal Airport.

NOTE: The City of Melbourne reserves the right to reject any or all submittals. All submittals will remain the property of the City. The City of Melbourne reserves the right to select from qualifications or may interview from a short list of qualified consultants.
