4. following-up the execution of the local noise reduction measures in the construction period.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The contracting authority shall construct a four-lane E6 (European road 6) on the section Kolomoen-Moelv, and approx a 1 km long four-lane national road 25. The construction period is from 2017 to 2021. The contract also includes measures for quite a few side roads, particularly in Brummundal and Moelv. The development affects many properties along the new road section. Some buildings are situated close to the construction area and may be affected by vibrations. These buildings must therefore be inspected and their conditions shall be registered prior to the construction works. The registrations shall be used as a basis for handling possibly damage claims as a result of the construction works. Many properties along the road section will also be affected by noise from the finished road section. Local noise reduction measures (measures on buildings and outdoor areas) shall be designed and followed-up during the construction period.
The contracting authority therefore wishes to sign an agreement with a company for the following assignments:
1.condition reports for relevant buildings and professional appraisal of conditions in case of complaints and damages claims as a result of the construction works;
2. engineering design of local noise reduction measures;
3. implementation of procurement(s) for the execution of local noise reduction measures;
4. following-up the execution of the local noise reduction measures in the construction period.
