SNBV needs to extend its engineering capability during the implementation of its Capital Programme. The scope of Services that the Appointment of the Engineering Advisor encompasses can be divided into the following 2 tasks:
1. The peer review of all design reports that will be made for the Capital Programme by the contracted Designers — the Integrated Preliminary Design reports, Definitive Design reports and Technical Design reports. A report containing the results of each peer review is required within seven (7) working days after an Integrated Design report has been submitted for reviewing.
2. The provision of professionals who will:
a. deal with any engineering or technical queries that the parties who will be awarded the Integrated Design appointments for the Capital Programme might have;

The duration of the Contract is project-related. Due to the nature of the Scope of services, the Contractor, or Syndicate, will support SNBV during the design, construction and ORAT (Operation Readiness Airport Transfer) phase of all of the constructions and infrastructural adjustments the Capital Programme encompasses. The ORAT phase lasts approximately 6 months — as it is estimated that the Capital Programme will be fully implemented by 2025, this means this Appointment is expected to end mid-2026.
