Erläuterungstext
How to turn archetypal loft into a dynamic space with light reached through the holes on the roof? How to use intriguing unusable triangle roof window that can't be opened?
The idea responds to these questions with "the use of" ray of light. Glass trilateral prism continues from the roof window and goes to the floor. It functions as an aquarium. Corners, in which the prism is tilted, mimic fall corners of sunshine rays during the day. Long facades are oriented east - west. Each of the prism during certain times of the day, catches in itself the ray of light with the same falling angle.
Refraction of light through the trilateral glass prism and water, creates a specific environment in the loft. It is known that observation of fish in the aquarium acted as anti-stress, and the whole area is designed as a place for meditation.

Beurteilung durch das Preisgericht
This project has a provocative, poetic quality, rather than being a realistic technical solution. The transformation of triangular roof windows into a series of oblique glass aquariums, transmitting the light and defining an artistic space, this project stands apart. The jury appreciates its ironic or humoristic application of FAKRO products.
