The jury praised the project for its consistent and concise overall concept. The prominent quality of the design is its landmark character of a high-rise cube resting on a vast podium volume. Some members of the jury appreciated this approach as a monumental yet classic shape promoting strong and exciting scale relations with the flanking SPINELLI building.
Its strong approach towards the city centre by arranging the main entrance at the Espla-nade and creating a convincing symmetry there has been valued by the jury.
The jury particularly appreciated the atmospheric attitude of the interior spaces as spa-cious and welcoming, offering various views and a nice working environment.
The position of the Chamber and Trilogue areas in the Podium volume and towards the park is chosen correctly to allow a good accessibility.
