    Leistungsumfang
The mission scope of execution design team (EDT) is in the framework of the construction of a new administrative building for the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg-Kirchberg (new building project).
The project has been developed by the design architect and engineers up to the stage of a developed design (DVD), including the documentation for the permit applications.
The present mission covers architectural design, structural engineering and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) engineering. Based on the existing design, EDT has to deliver the following tasks:
    — developed design (DvD) completion,
    — execution design,
    — 3D, 4D and 5D BIM modelling,
    — preparation of work tender documents for construction, and
    — technical supervision of main works.
During the developed design completion, the mission role is to provide, based on existing DvD, a full and complete design including the coordination of all the disciplines, reports, calculations and drawings and to further develop the existing 3D model that should be used during the entire design process. The technical documentation required will be provided and would need to be technically reviewed by EIB and its external technical consultants.
During the execution design stage of the project the mission role is to provide the execution design documents and coordination of all the execution drawings, modification of the drawings resulting from the EIB reviews and/or modification of the specifications and technical conditions of the project, final issuance of the approved documents, issue of all reports and drawings required. During this stage the existing digital model should include the processes related to the construction schedule (4D BIM), together with the control of costs (5D BIM).
During preparation of work tender documents (WTD) for construction, the EDT shall develop and issue the precise, exhaustive and complete WTD necessary for implementation of the project and EDT will execute the technical part of the procurement process, all along the tenders' evaluation and the negotiation of contracts.
During the supervision of main works, EDT will be responsible for supervising the works implementation, controlling the achievement of the project by the enabling works contractor, and the general contractor(s) and/or construction companies, proceeding with the review and acceptance of the works and their final completion, with the adherence to the project schedule, the quality programs and objectives, and project budget.
