Cernach Housing Association, Drumchapel Housing Cooperative and Pineview Housing Association, (hereafter know as ‘the Associations’ in this notice) open spaces and properties.
II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
It is the Association's intention to enter into a Contract with a main contractor from 2.4.2018 to 31.3.2021 with the option for 2 x single 12 month extensions to deliver their open space cyclical maintenance and reactive repair work to hard and soft landscaped areas belonging to the Associations including open space areas, private and communal front and rear gardens to tenanted blocks of flats, houses and any other properties owned or managed the Associations in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow.

Description of renewals:
The contract will be 36 months contract with option of 2 x single year extensions. After the initial 36 months period has expired. This will be based on performance, cost and measurement against KPI's.

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates:
We are hoping to take the six (6) highest scoring bidders through and/or those who score the required threshold 70 % or 70 marks and above. If we only score 5 above the 70 % threshold then we will only take the 5 through to be invited to submit a tender. However, The Associations reserves the right to invite more or less should the scoring not reflect aspirational requirements. The minimum that we will take through to tender stage will be 4.

The Associations need a contractor that is able to mobilise to start and commence the contract 2.4.2018.
Please note that if a new contractor is successful there will likely be an overlap and transitional period to allow the incumbent contractor to complete ongoing repairs and programmed services.
