Container Show Room

The idea is to convert old and used 40 foot high cube freight containers into moveable stand alone show rooms positioned in public and semi-public spaces, outdoors, under all weather conditions.

● The container is closed and goods on display can be seen from the outside. No inside walls required.
● As much visibility into the container as possible - cool, fresh design
● Goods will be positioned and displayed inside the container and glass walls will allow the view to the inside
● Container must be moveable by crane and truck - transported
● Container must be robust and transportable
● Designed in a way that minimal maintenance and cleaning is needed
● Containers will be positioned on street level
● They have to be designed in a way that it will be resistant to all weather conditions (strong wind, extreme heat, heavy rain, extreme cold, snow) and should be waterproof
● The container should have a minimum of one door for service purposes
● Lighting on the inside needs to be flexible to show goods on display in the best light
● Installation system for hanging of displays/products needs to accommodate for different sizes and weight
● Requires proper ventilation and heat systems to keep humidity levels stable and to avoid extreme cold/heat conditions that may damage goods on display inside the container
● The company logo must be visible and prominent on the container
● Need to allow for space for advertising and information that can be seen
● Should be a stand alone, self sufficient object
● Electricity should be provided at the location via cable. Alternatively electricity will be generated, i.e by solar panels and stored in LED batteries that have to be integrated invisibly in the containers design
● Heating in winter could also be done by a heating system that is run by diesel (like a car heater)
● Options for insulation should also be included - this will be dependant on the glass used for the walls.
